This 100 year old school underwent a complete remodeling. (Remodeling completed over a two year period.) Phase I of the construction concentrated on getting the shell in top condition. Roofs were replaced, exterior walls were tuckpointed, parapet walls were restored and new windows were installed throughout. Phase II included upgrading the mechanical systems. New high-efficient boilers were installed. A new fire alarm and new electrical services, along with a complete rewiring of the entire building, were also added. The plumbing was completely overhauled including washroom renovations throughout the building. To complete the job, all emergency exit doors were replaced. This job was valued at more than 2.2 million dollars.
